Edith "Sheryl" Sonnenberg Figueiredo

After graduating from Mills, I attended San Francisco State University with a Sociology and Accounting Major. I met my husband Valmar when I was 19 and was so intrigued with this exotic Brazilian, got to know his five sisters very well, visited Brazil and fell in love with the family, culture and we decided to get married. Once we were married I went to Brazil for the 2nd time and decided it was not where I wanted to live permantly (but visit regularly) so I now live 4 miles from where I grew up and my husband runs his business from the US.

After college, I worked in my father's doctors office for 20 years which allowed me to be involved with my kids, volunteer at school and other philanthropic organizations. We also spent time traveling in Europe, Asia and South America (my husband is from Brazil). We love going to Tahoe and Santa Barbara and always spending time with our family! Now I work for Mattson and explore my love of food with food development.

I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion and catch up!
